Under Nights Cover: Destroying Eardrums at The Factory Theatre

Progressive Metal Band from Sydney can’t wait to debut their latest material on stage at The Factory Theatre on the 7th for the semi-finals

Under Night’s Cover draws their influence from bands like Iron Maiden, Dream Theater, LORD, and Dungeon, and puts it all together in a super technical, epic prog metal mix all their own. Despite having to juggle year twelve at school with band practices and shows, they’ve still managed to get in the studio to lay down their latest material.

With much hype about their upcoming EP, they’ve finally released a single track, entitled “Euphoric Desolation”, which they are seriously looking forward to debuting on stage at their next gig. Despite being the first of their songs to feature vocals, this is their most heavy, technical song that they’ve written so far. It showcases their poetic approach to their song writing with lyrics like “Dreams are now a futile goal,
the cold winds are now my home,
another numbing stroke,
takes me to a world away from pain”, and highlights the dark themes they explore in their songs – anything from substance addiction to futuristic warfare. The band recently spoke to one of the guys from Cuervo, last year’s winning Australian band, and got to hear, first hand, his stories from the Germany as well as their mini-UK tour, and now they are just chomping at the bit to hit the stage again, saying that it makes the 1st prize that much more significant for them.

You won’t want to miss out. They’re going to put on a super tight, over-the-top metal show for their new fans at The Factory Theatre in an epic battle to get to the finals of the Emergenza Festival. Be there on the 7th to watch it all go down.
