A Gentlemen’s Agreement: Hardcore Tunes and a Full-Length in the Works

This Sydney alternative metal band spins their various influences into a signature, heavy hitting sound, which they’re laying down in the studio and onstage at The Factory Theatre

Self-described as raw emotional metal, this band mixes heavy hitting, modern metal with an old-school California hardcore feel, incorporating their influences from bands like Fugazi to Godsmack to the Deftones, and putting it all together into their own unique alternative metal sound.

They’ve only been together for about a year but have already released their debut EP. If you want to get a feel for their sound, go check out their Facebook band page where you can stream two of their singles, “Nobody” and “Attack Myself”. With song titles like that, it’s not difficult to imagine their hard-hitting, in your face energy. They’ve got a super heavy rhythm section, driven forward by power riffs and old school hardcore vocals.

Now with their debut full-length album in the works, they’ve been spending tons of time in the studio. But don’t think that means their letting their live shows fall by the wayside. Au contraire. They’ve been honing their live performance to a hard science with the goal of putting on a super sick stage show for the semi-finals at The Factory Theatre. November 2nd. Be there. It’s going to be heavy.
