This five-piece alternative rock band has had to go through a few trials and tribulations to get their current line up. But now that they’ve got the mix right, they are primed to present you with their dark, deserty rock and roll, which combines influences from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age, The Tea Party, Nick Cave, Kyuss, and Black Sabbath, to name but a few.
With influences like those, it’s not hard to imagine that they’ve got the dark, bluesy, psychedelic vibe to make just about anyone groove to their original tunes. As they say, they are “armed with riffs described as 'hard hitting and catchy as fuck' and a live show that will get even the stiffest suit up and dancing”. Take their original song “The Dark Red Room”, whose title in and of itself harkens to Nick Cave’s “Red Right Hand”. It’s powered by the blues guitar along with the undeniable force of the vocalist, who transforms this dark, ironic song, into something that you just want to move your body to.
They’re set to make their way all the way from the Blue Mountains to the stage at The Factory Theatre on the 1st when they go head to head with eight other bands for the chance of getting to the Emergenza finals. Don’t miss your chance to see this band then. They will transform you.
