The Wicked Shredding of TURN FROM TEMPTATION

Metal band Turn From Temptation shows us how to shred onstage at The Factory Theatre on the 19th

They name of this Sydney band comes from, as the band explains, the idea of the human struggle, the constant temptation of wanting. “Turn From Temptation” finds strength in their music and the bond they have as musicians to turn away from their temptations and follow their hearts. And their hearts just happen to be leading them down a wicked, dark, technical metal road. They’ve been in the studio working on their original blood curdling metal tunes, and will soon release their EP. Go to their YouTube to check out a teaser for the EP if you want to get an idea. For now, you can stream a few songs on their Facebook band page. You’ll love their song “Reality”, which starts off with a more old-school guitar lick, then turns into something totally modern, showcasing the raging vocals of the singer, as well as the shredding capability of the guitarist.

Their ultimate dream as a band is to play in front of a crowd and have their lyrics screamed back at them. And they’re not that far away. They’ve been gigging like crazy around Sydney, won their way into the semi-finals of the Emergenza Festival, and are now getting ready to play in front of some familiar faces at The Factory Theatre. Before they hit the stage, they’re tightening the screws on their stage performance, as well as working on some new material, which may or may not be debuted on stage. You’ll just have to go to the concert to find out!
