Rocking Out Metalcore Style with SHORESIDE

Metalcore band Shoreside, from Victoria’s southeastern suburbs, is looking forward to winning over some new fans at The Espy in Melbourne on the 18th

Shoreside says they’re just “five debatably normal guys” who see music as their passion and love to have a good time. But, there’s nothing normal about these guys. Shoreside spins the musical stylings of bands like August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, and I Killed the Prom Queen, into their own massive hardcore mix, complete with heavy instrumentals, and a duo of clean and screaming vocals.

Some of their recent accomplishments? Oh maybe just filming a music video, recording Desolation, their full-length studio album, and performing their music to the new fans at places like The Espy, where they recently rocked their way into the semi-final round of the Emergenza Festival. Among the songs you can check out on their Facebook band page, while you’re waiting for the show, is “Chapter One”. Shoreside says that it’s the one that goes over the best with fans. And, it’s a highly personal one too, telling the story of the band and what they’ve had to go through to get where they are now. They go on stage again on the 18th at The Espy, so don’t miss out!
