At The Age of 440 says they aim to combine theatrics and technicality in their performances, in order to immerse the audience in their show, rather than just put on a song and a dance. And when they’re able to find a stage big enough to accommodate all six of them, with their keyboards and other hefty instruments, they do just that: they have the ability to fill the room with their dynamic and at times otherworldly, progressive sound. If you’re curious about their musical vibe, you can check out a live version of their song “Get It Together”, which you can find on YouTube.
This song shows them at the height of their progressive rock drama, with an almost two minute long instrumental intro before the soulful, bluesy vocals of lead singer and bassist Estelle Stathoulis kicks in. They say that this song typically gets the largest response, and it’s no surprise. Your next chance to get the full At The Age of 440 experience will be for the semi-finals at The Espy on the 17th. Get ready for the rock drama!
