Five-piece epic rock band from Melbourne, For The Most Part, have made it well past the eliminatory rounds of the Emergenza Festival, and are now gearing up for their upcoming gig at The Espy, where they will battle it out in the semi-finals. And they’re sure to put on a compelling, high-energy stage performance as usual. As far as their sound goes: they’re an epic mix of hard-core and post metal sound. You can definitely hear the effect that bands like Evanescence and 30 Seconds to Mars have had on them, but they’ve undeniable got their own sound. The song that they all agree goes over best with their audiences is “Fragile”.
They say that it’s their way of spreading the message to their fans, family and friends that no matter what life throws at them, everything will be okay. And they finally have a full, professional version of it, which you can stream on their Facebook band page. The clear female lead vocals really shine through in this one, leading the epic groove of the song while holding up the rhythm section, with its double bass drumming and hard core screaming. Don’t miss out on your next chance to see this band play live at The Espy on the 17th. It’s sure to be epic.
