MERCURY WHITE Set to Play Songs Off Latest EP

Since their latest release in June of this year, Melbourne band Mercury White has been rocking their new songs, and plan to do just that at The Espy for the semi-finals

Talk about hard-working professionals, Melbourne band Mercury White is hard at it, producing an almost constant flow of new songs, videos, and regular live performances. Inspired by bands like Muse, Bloc Party, and Arcade Fire, they twist their influences into their own unique brand of indie pop, which is most notable for its use of male/female vocal harmonies, edgy introspective melodies, and undeniable pop appeal.

Their debut EP Gravity Says was received extremely well in the indie scene, and led them to produce videos as well as support major, touring Aussie bands. Since the last time we last talked to Mercury White, they’ve finally launched their much-anticipated follow up EP. This one has got 5 songs on it, all of which you can stream on their Reverbnation page- and after a line-up change, and the addition of strings, their sound has become even more epic! Hearing these songs should definitely get you psyched to see them on stage at The Espy on the 16th for the semi-finals. They are sure to be as good live as they are in the studio.
