Gearing up for the Show with THE FALLEN ANGELS

New wave band from Melbourne takes the time to speak to Emergenza before their semi-final show at The Espy on the 17th

These new wave rockers are ready to take the world by storm and have already started with their round one gig for the Emergenza Festival. Next step: the semi-finals at The Espy in Melbourne on the 17th this month. They’re gonna give it their best shot, and hope that you will be there to witness for yourself. Before the show, they let us in on what the first round was like and what they’re looking forward to most about the semi-finals.

CAN YOU GIVE US A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO THE BAND?

The Fallen Angels is a new wave rock band from Melbourne, Australia ready to take the world by storm.

WHAT’S A LIVE FALLEN ANGELS SHOW LIKE?

A live TFA show is packed full of energy with soaring vocals and rocking guitar solos. We bring the rock into the rock and roll show.

WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE FIRST ROUND FOR YOU?

The highlight for us was being able to perform in front of a responsive crowd. Even though we were the first band on, we had the most energy and crowd response.

CAN YOU TELL US MORE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE IN THE FIRST ROUND AND WHAT YOU LEARNED FROM IT?

We learned that this is a competition with great bands, so that means we need to step up our game.

SO HOW DOES IT FEEL BEING ONE STEP CLOSER TO THE EMERGENZA FINALS?

Feels great to be in the semi-finals of the Emergenza competition. We want to go all the way, so we will give it our best shot.

WHAT WOULD YOU SAY HAS BEEN ONE OF YOUR BIGGEST OBSTACLES SO FAR?

The biggest obstacle so far would be reaching a big audience, and we think by winning the competition this would really kick start our career and help us reach an audience overseas.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOST ABOUT THIS ROUND IN THE SEMI-FINALS?

We are looking forward to giving the best show possible. And also hoping to pass our message over to everyone that we are a serious rock band and making it to the final would mean a lot to us.

WITH SO MANY OTHER BATTLE OF THE BANDS EVENTS OUT THERE, WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO ENROLL IN EMERGENZA?

The reason why we picked Emergenza was because we believe that this competition and organization would be a great opportunity for us. It's our dream to perform in Europe.
