THE ALLGANIKS Spit Their ‘First Words’ in a Unique Language of Funk, Soul, and World Hip-Hop

Mega Melbourne collaboration THE ALLGANIKS prepare to rock songs off of their debut full-length album “First Words” at the Epsy on the 21st

Made up of fourteen regularly revolving members, or collaborators rather, THE ALLGANIKS, are a mega production, both in and off the stage. In the studio, for their debut album “First Words”, they invited even more creative minds in on the project. The album features the collaboration of other well-known Australian artists Elf Tranzporter and The Stoops. To get their groove, they draw inspiration from as many different sources as they have members, incorporating funk rhythms, hip hop and r&b vocals, rock guitar, and other world instrumentation.

The result is a super multi layered composition, which includes rap, r&b backing vocals, organic and electric beats, horns, sampling, and the list just goes on. In order to carry out their creative vision, they pack the stage with a full band, including horn section, back up vocalists, and deejay, so it’s all live, baby. The way music should be. Don’t miss your chance to see THE ALLGANIKS. You never know who will make a surprise appearance on stage, but one thing’s for sure: it’s gonna rock.
