THE BLACK SUNRISE Brings ‘Pop Songs and Panic Attacks’ to Life for Solo Artist JOHN TRAGER

JOHN TRAGER AND THE BLACK SUNRISE prepare to rock out songs from the EP Pop Songs and Panic Attacks at the Epsy in Melbourne

Aside from winning song-writing awards, placing in battle of the bands competitions and, as a result of both, playing in front of thousands, JOHN TRAGER has already released his debut six song EP. That being said, he is definitely one to look out for during the first round of the Emergenza festival in Melbourne this year. The EP, Pop Songs and Panic Attacks, you can stream in part on his Reverb as well as his official website. If you go right to the website, you’ll get to see a brand new video for his single “Emergency Lover” (featuring female singer Safiye Vurdu), which is a perfect example of his, slightly dark, twisted, pop punk reality. He plays regularly and, earlier this year, even had a spot on NorthWest FM, where he performed his original song “I Don’t Wanna Wake Up”. Oh yeah, there’s already an official video for that too.

He finally found the perfect band to help him realise his solo material live, and he calls them THE BLACK SUNRISE. You’ll have your chance to see them play live at the Epsy on the 21st this month in Melbourne. Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible Melbourne band.
