Self-described as indie, quirky and alternative, this local Melbourne band has the Emergenza market cornered in terms of all female acts. Made up of seven best girl friends, they gel together, both, on and off the stage as well as in and out of the studio. The seven members definitely allow for tons of experimentation in instrumentation and arrangement in their genre of pop rock. Recently, they’ve been spending tons of time in the studio together. They’re first single “Runaway”, which you can stream on their official website, shows the amount of work they put into their songs, which all have a backbone of natural, unaffected pop melodies, and are embellished with full vocal harmonies and varied instrumentation. They’ve got several more recorded, which will make their individual debuts, in stages, via the web.
