The Sydney gig, Aug 25th was not to miss. An ecstatic performance pulled by all, attendees stayed till the end and enjoyed the wave of music that hit their ears.

The Thompsons
First band of the night, eased the crowd in with a mix of tropical tunes blended nicely with indie pop rock to bring a calming yet jamming first start to the night. An interesting sound that entertained every single note of the way. A strong performance by a group of who I will look forward to seeing more of.

Good Griefs
Don't let their young age fool you, this group of rockers not only put on an electric performance they had a sound that rivaled some of the stuff you hear on radio today. Blowing away the audience with high energy tunes and awesome rhythms; it won't be long before you hear the name "Good Griefs"

The Unrequited
A group who are destined to have a large following was proven by their ability to play well and keep an audience up on their feet. There sound is one that has to be heard to be believed of their talents that the world is dying to hear.

The Outsiders
It is hard to pin a genre but it would easily fall somewhere between, indie rock, folk and happiness (granted that's not a real genre but how else could you describe pure joy? ). The Outsiders are totally in with a joyful performance that keeps everyone entertained.

Fictions
Picture this: A hardcore band that has pop punk stylings, and strong performances. Can't think of any? Well you have to check out Fictions. They brought something to the show that this contest hasn't seen this year. An interesting take on the genre giving it life

War of Attrition
Wow, just... wow. If you are not into metal/hardcore, you still have to see this. The band are too talented in my opinion and their lead vocalist might look like a nerd at first glance but when he grabs a hold of the mic... WOW. Amazing! They were hard, loud and talented.
