Luckily this band was able to persuade one of its members to give up on the drawing and dedicate his time to music. Many great bands were formed that way, including the Who and Led Zeppelin. So, you never know what might come of this young Sydney band. HOW DID YOU GET TOGETHER AS A BAND?
Well, Luke had a great band, than Kel came along and replaced them all with her friends. Like in Egypt. Too soon?

WHAT’S THE INSPIRATION FOR THE NAME?
True story: one of the guys had to choose between a nude drawing class he had been going to each week for 3 years and regular jams with the band. He chose the band. We wanted to ease the transition.

The Drawing Class.

WHAT’S YOUR PRACTICE SPACE LIKE?
I’d say it’s a hell of a lot like Troy Horse studios in Redfern, Sydney. Like, almost 99 to 100% like them.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN EMERGENZA?
The organisers told us if we slept with them, they’d make us big in this industry.

HOW ARE YOU PREPARING FOR THIS STAGE IN THE COMPETITION?
Tuna. So much tuna!

Hoping it will be a lot like speed dating.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER BANDS, AND WHAT MAY HELP TO GET YOU TO THE FINALS?
We fireproofed our drummer, the benefits of which should be pretty obvious.

A chance to expose ourselves to a whole new audience. With our pants on.
