Fun indie rock band from Sydney has been together since their school days, and even still uses the school for practice but now have a much more mature sound. They are finally in the process of working on an album and have released secret demo versions of two songs planned for the upcoming album. The first one “This Town”, one of their most recent songs, starts out with just a bluesy guitar and moves into a groovy lamentation on the mundaneness of everyday life in a small town. It’s the tale of desperation to get out of a place that lacks inspiration.

The second song is the very garage “Kissing With One Eye Open”. It’s got a British feel to it, complete with a super classic, a straight-forward rock and roll beat and high-pitched vocal accents in the choruses. It’s got a really great, suspenseful feel that builds up slowly into a bass driven break down and then ends with a bang. They go on stage at the Lair this Friday the 30th. You don’t want to miss them.
