    NEWS

Sunday, night number three at the Lair @ Metro kicks off at 6pm.

Emergenza’s stint in Sydney wraps up on this 7th of July with as the final 8 bands perform for in this eliminatory round of shows.

A little blues/rock number at the beginning of the night is sure to steer the night in the right direction. Tall Hearts will delight everyone with their unique and memorable pieces.
Russian Caravan, one of Sydney’s newest indie rock bands delivers a stellar performance with sophisticated music accentuated by their lead female vocalist.
A change in pace awaits the audience as the metal ensemble Chronic takes the stage next .While their music genre sounds loud and dark, they actually deliver the style in a way that is easily digestible by all.
Akumas Kinder fires up some mystery in us as well attempt to deconstruct their band name, but their music leaves us in no such doubt about their style or ability. Some true ‘angry’ metal is served.
With a much lighter twist on music, What it’s Worth delivers a style which is traditional, light and easily commercial. The perfect marriage of your fav songs as heard on the radio today.
Some electronic music follows, with Rocco, the fun upbeat duo delivering twenty minutes of electronic music with fantastic vocals and memorable instrumental riffs.
Deveaux stays on the lighter side of the music spectrum as they bring us their funky soul pieces with a melodic, mellow vocals and energetic upbeat choruses.
Finally, the talented and determined prog rock five piece Velocet brings dynamic sounds and deep heartfelt lyrics to the stage. A great and musically enthralling way to bring the night to an end.
That wraps up this round of eliminatory shows – thanks to all the bands, congrats to the winners we’ll be back at the Lair in August!
