This Brisbane band, made up of veteran musicians, has a little bit of something for just about any music lover. They don’t pin themselves down to any one genre, floating freely anywhere, from rock to jazz to Latin-infused tunes, always keeping the psychedelia at the surface of their sound. With well over 25 songs ready for the stage, they should have no problem whipping something up in time for the 1st round of the festival this weekend. One of their stand outs is ‘Born to Survive’, a song with just a little bit of a Fastball vibe to it, and is just one song out of many that have a melancholy touch to them, mixed with an optimistic message “we we’re born to survive”, despite hard times. Another one is their live demo ‘Be Happy with What You Got’, a slightly grittier version of their sound, but one that will nonetheless get you in a positive groove for their live show.
