The New Orleans bring fun and groove to Sydney’s music scene.

Recently formed and going strong the band wows the crowd with their ‘Cold Pop’ music.

A strong sense of humour and wit accompanies the musical stylings of this three piece which, according to their online profile are always looking to open the doors so to speak for other talent to join them on stage, be it temporarily or just for the one piece. Their versatility and ability to adapt a show based on the audience and venue is sure to provide the fans with a fun, musically fulfilling experience. In just their short time together – since this January – they’ve managed to amass a pretty good following.

Their fans have not had a shortage of opportunities to check out The New Orleans live as the band has played a bunch of shows across Sydney over the last few months. No doubt, this is in party why they have such an impressive fans base for a band so young. They promote their gigs very diligently across their online band profiles and are therefore always present in their fans’ minds. In March they begun recording some tunes and soon after they hit 1,500 plays on Soundcloud!
They promise to make people do the ‘groovy’ with their music. A few moments listening to Flowers proves how easily that can be achieved. While the recording leaves a bit to be desired, the song is energetic, and the strong punk undertones will definitely get you on your feet. Can’t wait to see how them in action as they take to the stage for the Emergenza Music Festival on July 5th at the Lair @ Metro.
