Currently gigging and recording new material, this family-turned hard rock band- is committed to their dream of playing overseas. They’ve already got a serious amount of live shows under their metal studded belts and are ready to kick ass at the Epsy basement on the 21st of June. Before the show, they’ve taken the time out to talk to Emergenza about their goals as a band, why they signed up for the festival and what their future holds.
CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY AS A BAND SO FAR?
We formed Elemental Burn in 2006. Brothers, cousins, husbands and wives, take you on a journey of life, love and pain.
WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS PLAYED GIGS IN THE PAST AND WHERE DO YOU HOPE TO PLAY IN THE NEAR FUTURE?
Elemental Burn has played over 60 different shows all over Melbourne. From The Esplanade Hotel in St. Kilda VIC, to sunny Kin Kin in QLD. We hope to be playing more regional shows in Victoria and would love the opportunity to play overseas.
WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO SIGN UP FOR EMERGENZA AND WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN FROM THE EXPERIENCE?
We feel Emergenza would be a good opportunity to help build some exposure for our band, we hope to gain
some good contacts, press and the chance to live our dream by playing overseas.
