One of a kind CHARLIE LANE set to light the Epsy stage

This cabaret-goes-indie rock act will doing nothing less than charm you with her luscious voice and one of a kind numbers

The description of Charlie Lane as a cabaret influenced jazzy bubble gum pop soul train is right on the money. If you aren’t touched by her original song, written for the indie flick Sheets called ‘Paper Heart’, well you haven’t got a heart, paper or not. She serves up singles just about as delicious as they come, filled with sweet as honey vocal harmonies and light snappy percussion, while never losing any of her street cred. Between her voice, which is both sultry and innocently child like, and her incredibly clever lyrics and vocal phrasing, she delivers a sugary musicality all her own. In addition to her heart melting pop pieces, she adds a cabaret feel to her performances, resulting from her background performing in that genre, complete with cute as a button wardrobe choices and a bright, pixie-like stage presence. If you want to be part of a seriously magical moment, you’ve got to come down and see her dazzle the stage at the Epsy basement on the 23rd of June.
