Grunge band ROSERVELT geared up for round one at the Epsy

Come support this class Melbourne act while they rock devilishly hard at the Epsy

These guys really rock. There’s no way around it. They’re full of original tunes, which all sort of quote the 90’s in their grunge appeal. There’s no lack of attitude with them. They’ve got killer lead guitar riffs filled with sassy bends and a straight to the core rhythm section. If you’re interested in giving them a listen before the show, they’ve got their Facebook band page well stocked with their original songs. There you’ll see how versatile this young band is. Aside from the grunge influences, you can hear Neil Young seeping through with the addition of harmonica solos on their more slow, easy songs. But they never quite lose the sort of 90’s melancholy, which is so built in to their sound. You can hear a lot of Queens of the Stone Age in their original song ‘Pony Farm’. This one is about as close to pop as grunge can get, with the raging, raspy vocal line worming its way into your head and forcing you to sing along before song has even finished. If you’re not persuaded to see them live after hearing a song like this, than there’s nothing that can be done for you. If you want to witness the madness first hand, you’ve got to come down to the Epsy and see them on the 23rd of June.
