This alternative rock act hailing from Melbourne is the image of nonchalance, their smooth melodies coming easily, as if with no effort. The solid thread woven through all their songs would be the soulful vocals, which play with bluesy syncopation. They’ve got a great, recorded version of their song ‘Hold Me Down’. On this one, it’s a simple acoustic guitar accompaniment, with just a touch of piano floating in from time to time to help broaden the spectrum of sound. The rest of their recordings are live, evidence to the fact that they are super musicians. Live, they fill out their sound with drums and electric guitar, giving them an edgy, almost 90’s, alternative rock vibe. Think bands like Live.
