These guys have seriously good ears, and as a result, have honed in on a sound filled with subtle references to hugely important psych acts like Deep Purple and Pink Floyd. Their modern spin on that sound gives way to a stoner grunge quality, particularly in their vocal approach. Their song ‘Noise Bar’ could be straight out of an acid trip in the desert with the Queens of the Stone Age acting as your guides. The song structures are far from anything pop and lend themselves more to the experience of listening. It’s thoughtful music. It’s mind blowing. But don’t think it won’t get you moving. They will have you spinning and flailing your body in a trance like ecstasy.
