Day Two of Round One: X&Y Brisbane 13th of May

Second night of the Emergenza Festival in Brisbane sure to rock as hard as the first

If you haven’t been to X&Y yet, now’s your chance, whilst getting much needed exposure to Brisbane’s local bands. Emergenza offers you the best Brisbane has to offer in the form of raw, local Rock and Roll talent. We’ve got, count ‘em, eight local bands tonight, and they’re all like caged animals, raging to break out and rock the stage. Opening up the show are Roses for the Damned, sure to get the audience going with their 80’s Hard-Rock aesthetic. Next, we’ve got The Lizard Skeleton, a group of zoo animals eager to mesmerize you with their signature mix of Funky-Punky Rock. Next is Fallin Short, a guaranteed great show. These veteran musicians have a polished, confident sound that may just set them over the edge. Then we’ve got The Fire, bound to put on a stellar, entertaining performance. Josh Gambles, all the way from mainland African, may just be that touch of exoticism that persuades you to come out. And, pledged to play their ‘backsides off’, Falęępo Franciscõ, won’t disappoint you with their rootsy rock groove. Next up we’ve got laid back, Californian Pop-Punkers Poncho Pilot, steering us expertly toward the end of the night. And, finally, closing the show will be Micropsia, jonesin’ to make you guys go mental during their awesome Hard-Rock set. There’s no excuse for not supporting these amazing young Brisbane acts. So come down to X&Y on the 13th of May and get inspired.
