After This Moment is sure to put on a killer show the 12th of May at X&Y in Brisbane. Before the big day, they take the time to sit down with Emergenza and answer our questions. They’re a solid band, that’s taken a new spin, with the addition of a female singer. If they can’t get you singing along to their catchy vocals, well, you need to un-clog your ears.

CAN YOU TELL US A BIT ABOUT THE FORMATION OF AFTER THIS MOMENT? WHAT BRINGS YOU TOGETHER AS MUSICIANS?
Our instrumental line up. Bass, drums and guitar has been together for a couple of years trying to find a vocalist that suits us. We come together well with some cool riffs and licks and a very singable vocal line.

AS OF VERY RECENTLY YOU WERE STILL IN SEARCH FOR A LEAD SINGER. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU TO HAVE FINALLY FOUND YOUR SINGER KOBY LEE? HAS IT CHANGED YOUR APPROACH AT ALL?
It's been great to work with a singer that has musical talent and writing skills. It has changed our initial style a little bit and has given us a unique sound.

WHAT DO YOU THINK SETS YOU APART FROM THE OTHER EMERGENZA BANDS AND WHAT MIGHT HELP SEND YOU TO THE FINALS?
We have a unique sound as said before. And even though we have only had one gig as a full line up, Koby has hit the stage running, helping us give a very entertaining stage show.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM A LIVE AFTER THIS MOMENT SHOW?
High energy entertainment with cool hook riffs. If we're not tired after a show, then we're not doing it right.

WHAT MADE YOU GUYS DECIDE TO SIGN UP FOR EMERGENZA AND WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN FROM THE FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE?
The HIFI was our initial lure. The professional sound and stage setup was what we were looking forward to mainly.
