Frenchy and The Buzz have got everyone talking.

The upbeat three-piece from Sydney boasts a repertoire of beats that are sure to please even the most discerning music critic.

Every band has a story… a story of how they came together, of how they make their music and of course there’s the stories the music tells.
Frency and the Buzz have a story that transcends boarders and even ocean. It’s the story of a young musician all the way from France who found his musical soul mates in his new home. Each musician in this band contributes not just their talent but also a long history on the local music scene and a knack for making tunes and grooves that stick with the audience long after the show is done.

Frenchy – who as the name implies – leads the band in a voyage across funk, jazz and blues to name a few. It seems audiences are quite dazzled by this musical ensemble, something which should serve the boys well in their upcoming show at the Lair @ Metro on May 18th. They will be performing as part of the Emergenza, the international festival for up & coming bands.

The French gentlemen in question brings to the band a powerful vocal which, whether he expresses in French or English, is equally captivating and distinct. His band mates are in perfect synch and follow his every cue both musically and in terms of performance. While Frenchy focuses on captivating and involving the audience in show, his band mates spew out some melodies that capture and embody each genre they aspire to reflect. Stranger in Babyolon, for instance, where the steady beat of the snare, the bass notes accompanied by the various guitar effects is a piece which seems to represent the band very well.
