Combining the best of rock. blues and metal, Psyrens brings us music which with all of its intricacies and nuances will appeal to just about everyone, no matter what your musical preferences are. The five young men who make up this band are all experienced musicians, something which shows in their approach to this project. They have not only been working hard to promote themselves, but also on recording their EP, a sampling of which is available on reverbnation.com.

The classic, Elvis-inspired rock’n’roll vocal and music of The Dark Red Room is an excellent illustration of how this up & coming band has managed to marry various musical styles and create something new. The singer’s voice lends itself to this style very well; he steps into the genre very naturally, followed by his musicians keeping in perfect synch and tune. While some other pieces channel a little less of the king, they are equally well written with harmonies and melodies complimenting eachother in the vocals and solo instrumental interludes.
The band has played a number of shows over the last few months and are now working towards their first performance with the Emergenza Music Festival which will be on the 18th of May at The Lair at Metro.
