Scarlett Cook competes for the title

This female vocalist will be displaying her talent on stage at The Espy in Melbourne on May 9th

Emergenza boasts a wide array of artists from nearly every musical genre in each and every one of their gigs. That being said, while there are many rock and metal bands participating in the competition, no one can compare to the distinctive musical styling of Scarlett Cook. Playing music from a very young age, Scarlett has become a master of both instrumentals and vocals.

Scarlett Cook’s music hints at influences from artists like Tori Amos and Tool, though her own personal touches are evident. Perhaps the strongest attribute to her music is her clean, smooth vocals, which support her original lyrics. Of course, her skill on the piano and the acoustic guitar provides a solid foundation for which each song can grow. Her music has a very haunting tone, leaving listeners wanting more. Her music can be found on Triple J Unearthed, but of course, nothing can compare to a live performance. Looking to be blown away? Come out to Melbourne’s legendary venue, The Espy, on May 9th to hear Scarlett Cook perform her debut Emergenza performance!
