    Qlaye Face enters the competition

Local Melbourne band performs live at The Espy on May 9th

It takes true craftsmanship to create a style of rock that is uniquely your own. It takes a special band to produce an innovative sound both constantly and faultlessly. While musicians like this may be few and far between, Qlaye Face has somehow managed to copiously exemplify both of these exclusive attributes of an inventive musician. With husky vocals that hint at the legendary Jeff Buckley’s style, this is a band that does not disappoint.

Forming during their high school days in 2007, Qlaye Face has spent years honing their sound. With sick guitar riffs, smooth vocals, and original lyrics, other bands pale in comparison to Qlaye Face’s level of artisanship. While their music cannot be contained into a single genre, different elements of funk, alternative, and progressive rock can be heard within the impressive tempo changes. While you can always check out their music online, via their Facebook page, nothing beats watching this band perform live. Qlaye Face will be making their debut Emergenza performance at The Espy on May 9th.
