    Craving more Cranium

Local Melbourne punk rock band makes their debut Emergenza performance on stage at The Espy

If Nirvana and The Smashing Pumpkins had a lovechild, it would be Cranium. With a sound that is an effortless transition from heavy rock to punk, this local Melbourne band brings this unique brand of rock back to life. The golden days of 90’s rock are long gone, but Cranium has found a way to revitalize this epic style of rock and contort it into a sound that is very much their own.

Their track, “How Long”, exemplifies their sound as a band. Heavy instrumentals, particularly rhythm, coupled with the slowly building vocals, give the song a very eerie, intriguing sound. The boys behind Cranium incorporate a wide range of elements to each one of their songs they perform. They can be growly grunge one minute, then transform into a fast-paced punk band within seconds. It doesn’t take much thought to realize what an incredible band Cranium is, and only a fool would miss out on the opportunity to see them perform live at The Espy on May 9th. Cranium will leave you craving for more.
