    Sydney's Mind Blowing 2nd Round 2013

EDEMA RUH, TIFFANY BRITCHFORD, FLICK THE BEAN, TIGER AND THE ROGUES, U:CODIA, BIN JUICE, CICADA, NOTHING BUT JAM

Last nights gig was amazing! All the performers brought their A game and it was a shame they all couldn't get through because they blew the roof off that gig.

    Edema Ruh

This seven piece big band brings an element of folk, punk and dash of gypsy swagger. Their style had a great mix of sound that blended well and infused a great performance. Being the first band on for the night they really started getting people in the mood for the night.

    Tiffany Britchford

Tiffany Britchford and her band brought an alternative sound that was unique and hard to define but sure worth listening to. If punk rock, melodic rock and soul all had sex they would produce the sounds that this band brought to the show. It was a great fun to watch and listen to.

    Flick the Bean

The 3 man band brought punk rock sound that hasn't been heard in a while with their own twist on it. It got the crowd dancing and enjoying themselves while playing.

    Tiger and the Rogues

This band brought a feel and look of sex appeal to the rock genre. They played a good show with sounds that captivate. Can't wait to see more of this band in the future.

    U:Codia

A powerhouse of rock, these guys were amazing in their performance, sound and the way they brought the crowd to their feet was amazing. They take their rock seriously and it is shown through the music, vocals and crowd interaction. One to keep an eye out for.

    Bin Juice

Groovy funk blended with rock isn't something you'd usually hear from an Aussie band, which brings a unique and fun aspect to the show. Not only did they get the crowd on their feet but they obviously knew how to put on a show that got the audience to crowd surf. One hell of a show to watch.

    Cicada

Remember when Australian rock was good? These guys emulate that AND bring their own twist to it all. They had a hard act to follow but delivered and then some. A 3 piece band that had more energy than 3 people should.

    Nothing But Jam

This Latin rock band has been making a little bit of a name for themselves in the scene. Playing with one band member down, they still powered through and put on a show. Their easy listening rock with a Latin twist was a refreshing end to the night.

All in all the bands were great and I wished ALL could make it through. Definitely check out all these bands when you get a chance. An 11 out of 10 show for sure!
