    Into the Fireplace

ITF Starts Their Journey with Emergenza in Sydney

Into the Fireplace is a very unqiue band offering fantastic lead female vocals as well as a very wide range of music that can be appreciated by almost everyone. They took the time to answer a couple of our questions. Don’t miss the chance to see them, they will be at The Lair in The Metro this upcoming April 12th!

What led you to participate in Emergenza?
ITF are keen to expand their fanbase, gain more experience from playing live and enjoy the competition. We saw this as a great opportunity to put our name out there.

Do you think that having a lead female vocalist gives you guys an edge in the competition?
Having a lead female vocalist doesn't guarantee an edge, there are other female singers out there too though it does make us stand out a little from the majority of bands. It could also widen our target audience with Chiara's voice being so easy to listen to.

What can we expect to see from a live performance from you guys?
You can expect a lot of energy, fresh tunes and a variety of music. ITF is band of five different personalities that come together on stage to have fun and entertain. We want people to sing along even if they don't know the lyrics.

How can you best describe your music?
Never an easy one to answer, but at the moment it would be indie rock. We've got influences from rock, funk and hip hop laced into our songs too. With several different songs, we're quite versatile so struggle to brand ourselves into one sure category.

What do you hope to gain from Emergenza?
More fans, exposure, a good rapport with other bands who have entered and an all around positive experience that can help us move forward as a band. We want to be as big of a part in live music as possible. Emergenza could definitely assist.
