    NEWS

Great music at X&Y Bar continues on April 2nd.

Join these eight awesome up & coming Brisbane bands as they play their hearts out for four hours.

The young yet talented folks of Disparity start us off on this Tuesday night, with their take on the rock genre. They’ve been drumming up a lot of support for this gig, so expect it to be pumped!
Trashqueen keeps with the rock theme, this time however we are transported a few decades back to the heyday of the genre and the funky hairstyles that went with it!
Up next, Spook Hill will bring us their blues beats, a sound without boundaries or any other limits. Get ready to be transported by their music as they aspire to steal the show.
Here's To Neverland marks our halfway point. This young ensemble pays tribute to their youth with their band name as well as their musical style. The light pop performance will be a certain hit.
Great music and a great performance in store for our audience courtesy of Crowbird. This upbeat rock ensemble has some awesome musical pieces and are working hard to get the audience pumped to dance along with them.
FREK is up next, the band is determined to make a mark on Brisbane’s local music scene and their musical offerings seem to be up to the challenge. Their rock/metal mix is sure to stand out.
Cartoon Physics has a funky and whimsical approach to their music, something that will no doubt translate on stage and draw the audience in. Their music is easy to listen to and well thought out.
To end things off, You People will take the stage. These four gentlemen play a very pleasant type of alternative rock, something you can dance to and sing along with.
And so our two-day run will come to an end at X&Y Bar. Stay tuned – cuz we will be back!
