Tell us a little about how the band got started.
The idea to bring Crowbird to life started in early 2011 as a one-man project by Greg McCrow. After his brother died, who was also passionate about music, he felt the need to release the only song they have ever written together, called Million Miles. The track was recorded in Cairns (Queensland, Australia) in March 2011 along with a few others. Realizing at this point that to further pursue his music career he had to relocate.

What are you most looking forward to for the April show at X&Y Bar?
We are always looking forward to play live to a wide audience. This will be the first time for Crowbird to perform at the X&Y Bar, which is exciting too! Conquering Brisbane one venue at a time!

What are your plans for the performance?
Like all live shows we aim for a great quality, which means the band needs to be tight and ready to rumble

What would you say is your band's forte and what do you guys still need to work on?
Our catchy songs are definitely our strength, we just need to work on finding a forth band member to make give the songs a fuller sound!

Who writes the songs, what are they about?
Greg, the founder and frontman of Crowbird, has written, composed and recorded all songs by himself only enlisting the help of a drummer to lay down the drum beats in the studio. The songs are mainly about love, sin and rock n roll!
