I was somewhat surprised to encounter another band in this round of Sydney’s Emergenza competition with the same kind of raw metal power. Hematic is a five piece group based in Sydney that incorporates thrash and death metal. Its vocalists are able use both high and low growls, and it is done extremely well. You can hear the lyrics and they are not just purely screaming at you, and then they go to further amaze you when they are also able to incorporate clean vocals within a few of their tracks.

They are a relatively new band and have written several of their owns tracks and have even already released an EP in the short time that they have been together. The journey through Emergenza is certainly going to be a fascinating one; this is going to be a band to watch in this round of Emergenza.
