    Genuine hard rock from Crowbird

With a sound true to origins of the rock era, you can count on a genuine good time.

Crowbird is a straight up, independent rock artist from Brisbane. The project started off as a solo venture by the band’s front man, and slowly evolved into what it is today – an ensemble of like-minded musicians who thrive on playing rock’n’roll for audiences of all ages and in all settings. In its two years, the band has managed to record a number of songs and amass a considerable fan base, as evidenced by over 1,300 fans on their Facebook profile.

All 1,300 fans will be excited to know they can soon see Crowbird on stage as they take on 7 other up & coming bands from Brisbane at the X&Y Bar on April 2nd. As part of the Emergenza Festival they will have an opportunity to move on to the semifinal round later in the year.

While this success is no doubt largely due to their relentless promotional efforts, it’s their music that keeps the fans coming back for more. With a modern twist on the classic rock sound, Crowbird’s songs address what is important to the artists, thus allowing the audience to be drawn into their world. Million Miles, the band’s featured song on their Reverbnation profile is a good sampling of what one can expect from the band. A classic combination of a melodic vocal expressing well thought out lyrics backed by a powerful rhythm section and distinctive guitar riffs.
