    NEWS

Trashqueen takes us back through a musical time machine.

They’ve got the hair, the sunglasses, the denim vest and they are ready to rock your socks off.

One of Brisbane’s only genuine classic rock ensembles, Trashqueen has been playing together and staying true to the 80’s for three years now. Delighting crowds with both captivating musical sounds as well as witty lyrics, the band is set to carve out a niche for themselves in a genre whose popularity spans decades. With a series of lives shows under their belt and even more lined up to keep promoting the music and the band.

With more practice, experience and all those other tings that make us ‘perfect’, these guys have the potential to be an excellent classic rock band. You can check them out live on April 2nd at the X&Y Bar, where they will be taking part in the first round of the Emergenza Festival.

A few of their songs are up online and have been receiving some positive reviews from the fans. As a big hair band fan myself I would have to say Where are we now was my fav… not sure if it’s the YEAH! at the start of the song or the repeated title in the chorus but it sounds most true to the style they are trying to emulate.
