Formed in 2010, Disparity has seen members come and go, but seems to have found serenity in the current line up, consisting of two guys and two girls. The founding members have stuck with the project and are now reaping the rewards in the form of some recording time at local studios and playing as many live gigs as they can get to promote themselves as well as the EP, which they are hoping to release later this year.
They have also been busy working on a video for one of their songs, a fine sampling of what’s to come from the band in the future not just visually but musically as well. The song One Day’s Rest, which the video is for is an ideal piece for a future single release. It’s catchy, and the acoustic intro immediately catches the listener’s attention. With vocals that hold wisdom beyond the singers’ apparent years, the band produces a solid sound.
Brisbane will have the opportunity to hear them live in a few weeks when they take to the stage at the X&Y Bar for the eliminatory round of the Emergenza festival.
