Bringing something fresh and new to this night first round of Emergenza shows in Brisbane, Jericho 13 provides an eclectic mix of metal, punk and industrial. The band’s cryptic intro and bio provide excellent insight into their style, songwriting and music as a whole. You know you will be in for a treat and something different when it starts off that way.

With one album already under their belt, the guys are now working on a second, which they hope will delight their fans. They are hard at work promoting both their upcoming live shows as well as their recorded music – which includes a ringtone of one of their songs… such an easy thing to do, but I suspect it will be a very effective promo tool for these guys.

The band’s powerful drumbeat is very solid and provides a backbone for the rest of the musical ensemble. Considering that just recently the band was looking to replace their drummer, this will not be an easy role to fill! Their music is not only different from other bands but there is also a good deal of diversity among the songs – from the lighter and more sounds of Spores to the typical metal riffs and vocals of Fire Dragons From Mars.
