NEW AGE THERAPY offers some TLC for your ears.

The band manages to be light while still maintaining the edge, which makes them the quality punk/rock band they strive to be.

Having their hands full with writing, recording and performing music, New Age Therapy have been putting their energies towards making sure their finished product reflects each of their individual influence and styles faithfully. An appropriate name for a band who came together using the modern marvel of social media, they have been playing together for a couple of years now and have quite an impressive repertoire to show for their time.

You can catch them live at X&Y bar on April 1st where they will be participating in the first round of the Emergenza International Festival. For a band who has been delighting crowds and taking home the win from the very start of their career, this should be an excellent move not just for exposure but also as far as taking it far into the competition. They will be accompanied by seven other bands that night, and thus need to make sure they come out with their best foot forward.

Their take on punk/rock is quite classic and easy to listen to… something strangers in the crowd are bound to take to. I really enjoyed the melodic and simple flow of their songs. This applies to the instrumental portions as well as the vocal, which conveys the excellence of their songwriting quite adequately. For me, In The End illustrates this very well, the harmony and flow of the song is exemplary of the rest of their work.
