First of all, congrats on making all the way to the national final!

Give us a bit of insight on how you guys were feeling the night of your show and during those last moments during the award ceremony.
Pre-show, we were happy & excited to be playing in the final.
In the last moments prior to the announcement of the winning band we felt relieved & honoured that we were judged so highly.

What was the best and worst part of this experience for you guys?
The best part of the Emergenza experience was working with all of the staff from both Emergenza & Fedora they made things extremely easy for us. The worst part would be the pressure we would place on ourselves leading into each round.

Will this be your first show in Sydney? What are you guys hoping to get out of the experience?
This will be the first show for Virtue in Sydney with our current line up. We are hoping to meet as many people as we can and hopefully gain a few fans in the process.

How would you say taking part in the Emergenza Festival has helped you guys evolve as a band?
Taking part in the festival has forced us to really think about which songs in our catalogue has the best impact on a live crowd in a 25 minute set.

What can we expect from Virtue in 2013?
Virtue will be releasing a single, and our first videoclip, at the beginning of the year with an album to follow. We will be touring Australia and looking at doing some UK and or European dates as well.


So good luck to Virtue in Sydney representing Victoria in the National finals at the world famous Metro Theatre, one of the best live venues anywhere. It was a night of great rock and roll in melbourne and all the bands were very, very good. The Judges had a hard time trying to pick one but Virtue came through in the end. Proof that you only need 3 to rock....come on Sydney!....Come on Germany!
