So the last few years we've had bands from Victoria winning the national final and going to Germany to play that huge stage. We've seen the talent and the confidence on the big stage. We've seen the bands from Victoria share the bill and the stage with big superstars. We've seen them eat, drink and party backstage like proper rock stars. We've even seen them getting their picture taken with eager new fans. The german fans. The ones that are thirtsty for new music. The ones that are open minded and welcome good, talented Aussies to their country.

Yes, we've seen it before and we want this to be the case again. What's in the water around Melbourne? Why do bands from Victoria always triumph in the national finals ? Well for starters we can say beacuse they are good.

It's pretty obvious but we can say that it is a factor we can't quite out our finger on. Certainly the German music fans seem to love them. Our German collegues tell us that they are receiving emails enquiring about tbands from Australia and asking if they will be as good.

One this is for sure, that the rock fans of Bavaria are eagerly waiting for the Aussie band so let's see if you can help get a band from the Melbourne final on Sunday December the 9th at the Hi-Fi one step closer to them. Support your local talent and send them to Germany!!
