Five unique gentlemen make up the band Cascade, and each bring their look, talent and particular know-how to a band which in just over a year has experienced much success. Their music has gotten airplay in both Australia and the US and one of their film clips has reach an impressive height on an international chart. All this to say, a good band, with good music, can take it pretty far, pretty fast, if only they put their minds to it.
There is no doubt that aside from music, these gents are also talented band social networking wizes. Their band’s Facebook page has over 6,000 likes. Something I rarely see with band who’ve already got a good degree of notoriety, much less an up & coming band who is just breaking into the scene. It shows that they guys maximize their exposure, work closely to maintain their fan base and don’t lose any opportunity at making a lasting connection with a fan. Their web media is very well put together and taken care of and gives a super professional impression of these band.
I love that you can listen to their music directly on their band’s website & Facebook page. Cascade plays the kind of rock music that made rock such a music favorite. They seem to have it all, strong arrangements, instrumental sections that are in synch with each other, smooth vocals and excellent songwriting. The instrumental intro to Circles is a great example of this stile, as is the flow of the chorus and passage through each verse of the song. I look forward to seeing these guys play in the final round of the Emergenza Festival in Sydney at the Metro in December.
