With their second EP just recently released, Sydney’s The Trobes are enjoying the ride as a successful up & coming local band. There are quite unique as far as bands go and they go out of their way to maintain that image. During their live set, each musician plays and instrument and takes part in the vocal at various times which adds to the dynamic of their performance.

Offering up an interesting mix of pop, rock and even country I would say, these guys manage to incorporate an array of instruments and styles into their pieces. Sax, acoustic guitar and percussion are just a few of the sounds you can hear in their songs. Coupled with some pretty strong songwriting and vocal melodies, The Trobes appear to be a well put together emerging band.

Their band promotion leaves nothing be desired, their new EP’s release party took place at one of Sydney’s premier venues -  The Metro! Their music can also be purchased on iTunes and you can find them on any major band/music networking website out there. Kudos to them for having some awesome band marketing strategies.
