A very upbeat and high energy live performance accompanies the music of these four talented musicians from the Sydney area. The acoustic guitar and keyboard adds a very distinct sound to their music and validates their claim to being a touch folksy. Each of their songs appears to be very well put together and seen in person, live, at a music venue is quite engaging.
The social networking for their band leaves nothing to be desired – checking out their Facebook page I found they have a whooping 2,430 likes! This is far above the average that I see for most up & coming bands, which is usually a number in the hundreds. A clear sign of the promotional know-how and commitment to getting their band heard by the maximum number of people both online and off.
The vocal duets on I Don’t Play Quidditch are really the star of the song, with acoustic intro a very close second. I quite enjoy seeing a male & female band members teaming up on the vocals and not limiting themselves to just the chorus but incorporating this into the whole song. The young lady & man from Nova & The Experience have done just that.
