In just a few short days, Kaato will be gracing the stage of the Factory Theater in Sydney as part of the semi-final round of the Emergenza Festival. Kaato is a very talent, and seemingly self sufficient musician. In the video for In Disguise, you can witness him playing every instrument, and very well at that. He is an excellent vocalist, making use of various techniques put forth by artists of the 70’s and 80’s, something which puts him right in line with his appearance and genre. During the show, he will appear with other musicians, who hopefully can convey his style just as faithfully as he does.

The song itself is a masterful union of guitar riffs and techniques accompanied by a well thought out rhythm section and Kaato’s diversified vocals.

Up & coming bands often struggle to find their neigh in the industry, to find live music venues which will take a chance on them. While I have no doubt Kaato has an awesome following all their own, taking part in the festival will allow them to further their band promo and expand their audience base. I hope those at the Factory Theater on October 9^th are as impressed with these guys as I was!
