    TOP STORIES
Bryan Anthony van Putten (born September 15, 1985 in Aruba) is a Dutch-Caribbean songwriter, singer and guitarist. He currently resides in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Van Putten is most widely known for his tender blend of intimate, melodic confessions permeated by pop hooks, poetic lyrics, and nostalgic sentiments. He has been compared to Counting Crows, Brett Dennen and Staind's Aaron Lewis.

Bryan van Putten first touched a guitar when he was just a little kid. He fumbled around with it, not quite knowing how it was to be played. At the age of nine, his parents signed him up for guitar lessons. He initially disliked it, though it wasn't long thereafter that he was hooked. He hasn't put it down ever since.

When he was 11 years old, Bryan van Putten was already playing in his very first band, aptly named Dypers. Nobody in the band knew "diapers" was the correct spelling and nobody gave a damn when they evidently found out. Bryan was the only one in the band with a wide vocal range, so he was asked to be the singer, though all band members pitched in from time to time.

It was at this junction that Bryan van Putten started to compose and arrange music. Van Putten later went on to be the front man of many bands such as Track One and Intra Muros. He is also a beat maker and arranges music in various genres.

Song writing, along with keeping up with current events and global issues are his passion. A troubled mind with little to say and much to write about, his music is like a never-ending story, every song another chapter, every word another page.
