    scarLit was originally formed back in 2003, as a 2 piece band with just guitars and Ben on vocals. Later that year drums were added in the form of Alex, and then Kawan came in with the bass a bit later. The old guitar player left a bit later, and David came in following the break-up of his old band; thus scarLit as it is today was born in the summer of 2004. As all 4 members are in area colleges, the members of scarLit do an impressive job of balancing their academic work along with their career as a band.
