    Escape Artist (EA) …… First formed in December 2008, converting computer generated beats and samples into a 5 piece live hip hop set consisting of two MC’s, DJ, bass and guitar. EA‘s first home built garage studio was in North Beach, WA and was headquarters for the band in 2009. This is where they created their recently recorded EP ‘scratchin the surface’ with 4 of their inaugural song creations from 08 09 making up the song list.

    The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered at the SAE college in Perth City with lecturer Matt Vaugn. Lz (Karrinyup), Slipsta (Eastern Hills), B-rizzle (Scarborough), J deep (Doubleview) and young pup Greazer (Yanchep) have spent the last two years improving their sound, increasing song repertoire, and recording an EP.
