    The Formers were founded in 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland, by Matthias and Lukas Müller to create sounds and songs in the tradition of their musical favorites (Interpol, Radiohead, Coldplay, Cinematics… well, too many to mention). The ultimate formation was accomplished a year later with Ueli Spoerri (drums) and Andreas Laetsch (bass). The songs are created in an intensive atmosphere of creativity and carried by a fine-meshed wall of guitar sounds with steady grooves, dry, but danceable, all dominated by the charismatic voice of Matthias, whose former (....and there we are!!) band 'Selfish' gained national résumée. Their four track demo was recorded in Spring 2010 and received immediate positive feedback . A long list of former bands pave the way of the band members anyway. But let's keep eyes straight to the future: Here they are, The Formers, a melting pot of fine ingredients… to move you, baby! (Check us out on myspace.com/theformersx)
